Hankyu Hanshin Express Co., Ltd.
On October 1, 2009, Hankyu Hanshin Express Co. Ltd. was launched as a new international logistics company with the management integration of Hankyu Express Co., Ltd. and Hanshin Air Cargo Co., Ltd. under the wing of the Hankyu Hanshin Express Holdings Corporation. In January 2010, the overseas subsidiaries of the company completed their integration.
The efficacy of this management integration will be put to the test in the future. We also expect the harsh business climate for our group will continue, as well as the turbulent changes in the industry.
It is our intention to work hand-in-hand with the other group companies as we strive to become a company of power and excellence, based on the new mid-term business plan STAGE'15 that will be implemented in April 2010. We will make every effort to improve the value of our brand in the continually growing international logistics market by directing our focus to three activities: expanding and enhancing our global network, providing service of exceptional quality, and training a professional workforce.
