Hankyu Hanshin Express has acquired IATA CEIV Pharma(*1) (a quality certification program for international transportation of pharmaceuticals) recertification at Kansai International Airport on June 2nd, 2025.

We obtained "CEIV Pharma" certification on June 1st, 2019, as a member of the "KIX Pharma Community"(*2) and this is our second recertification.
In addition, Narita International Airport also has "CEIV Pharma" certification which was recertified in March 2024.

As a result, we have established a transportation network that ensures its quality in pharmaceutical logistics at Japan's two major airports.

(*1) CEIV Pharma

Abbreviation for "The Center of Excellence for Independent Validation in Pharmaceutical Logistics." A globally unified standard established by IATA as a transport quality certification compliant with GDP (Good Distribution Practice, a logistics standard ensuring quality in the pharmaceutical distribution process).

 

(*2) KIX Pharma Community

A community formed in August 2017, centered around Kansai Airport Co., Ltd., where businesses involved in international air transport unite. Its purpose is to provide safer pharmaceutical transportation at Kansai International Airport through the acquisition of CEIV Pharma certification. Currently, 16 companies, including ours, participate as members of the community.
