In April 2018, INTRASPEED very proudly became a subsidiary of HANKYU HANSHIN EXPRESS(HEX). Intraspeed South Africa has its own offices in South Africa, Kenya and Uganda. Additionally, we have vast agent’s network in and around Africa, which allows us to offer logistics services in 90% of Sub Saharan African countries. We have Japanese HEX staff positioned in South Africa and Kenya, which gives us a very unique footprint as Japanese owned freight forwarder in Africa. Our main commodities are automotive parts, mining equipment, FMCG(Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and non-perishable general cargo. Since joining the HEX group, the number of Japanese clients’ has increased. South Africa is hub that is perfectly positioned to all SADC countries (Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, and Namibia) and Kenya is a perfectly positioned hub to all EAC countries (Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan, Eastern DRC and Ethiopia).
