Hankyu Hanshin Express Selected for Tokyo SAF Cargo Subsidy Program

Hankyu Hanshin Express Co., Ltd. has been selected by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as one of the freight forwarders promoting the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for air cargo transportation to reduce CO₂ emissions.

Under Tokyo's program launched in 2024, companies registered in Tokyo that use SAF for air cargo through designated forwarders receive subsidies to offset additional SAF-related costs. For fiscal year 2025, Hankyu Hanshin Express will participate in this initiative.

During the subsidy period (July 2025-March 2026), Tokyo-based companies using SAF for air cargo shipments through Hankyu Hanshin Express will receive a CO₂ Reduction Certificate and financial support for SAF surcharges.

As a core company of the Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group, we remain committed to ESG initiatives and environmental conservation, contributing to the realization of a decarbonized and circular society.
