HANKYU HANSHIN EXPRESS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED has opened a new office in Sanand, near Ahmedabad in western India, and began operations on November 3, 2025.

Sanand and Dholera, located in Gujarat, are rapidly growing industrial hubs and have gained global attention as major manufacturing centers. Both areas host leading industrial parks where numerous Japanese and global companies, particularly in the automotive and semiconductor sectors, have established operations.

The new office is located at ICD Sanand, the closest inland container depot to these districts. ICD Sanand offers significant cost advantages as containers cleared here do not need to be returned empty to the port. It is also known for flexible handling and high-quality services, with customs officials and clearance agents stationed on-site.

The office will manage bonded rail and road transport from Mundra and Pipavav ports to ICD Sanand, as well as onward delivery to Sanand and Dholera. It will also oversee ocean freight shipments and customs clearance monitoring via ICD Sanand. Direct communication with on-site customs and clearance agents enables quick response to irregular situations. Leveraging these strengths, we aim to meet customer needs in both regions and further expand our business.
