According to various media reports, military tensions in the Middle East have escalated since Saturday, February 28, causing disruptions to logistics, including air and sea transportation.

 
Air Transportation
In response to airspace restrictions and the deteriorating situation in certain parts of the Middle East, multiple airlines have suspended or adjusted flights bound for the region.

Sea Transportation
Shipping companies are re-routing vessels or suspending operations in consideration of situation around the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea. Some shipping companies have also announced the introduction of emergency surcharges.

Situation in Dubai
Our local subsidiary in Dubai has reported delays and restrictions in airport and port operations due to the regional situation. Employees of our Dubai subsidiary are currently on standby at home or working remotely. We will continue to prioritize the safety of our employees and take actions in accordance with guidance from local authorities and the Consulate-General of Japan.
