CEIV Pharma(Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics)

CEIV Pharma is a quality assurance program (guideline) for pharmaceutical air transportation established by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This certification is based on GDP (Note) defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the more stringent EU GDP guidelines established by the European Union (EU), and incorporates the IATA Temperature Control Regulations (TCR) as requirements specific to air transportation.

As a first wave member of the CEIV Pharma Community at Narita Airport and Kansai Airport, we have obtained CEIV Pharma certification and have developed and implemented internal transport plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) designed for pharmaceutical logistics. By adhering to these guidelines, we manage temperature ranges in accordance with product requirements and provide our customers with safe and high quality air transport services. We also review customer designated temperature loggers and temperature records provided by subcontractors, to the extent available, to enhance traceability and accountability in the transport process.

Furthermore, we ensure that staff participate in CEIV Pharma training program conducted by IATA and those who successfully complete the program are assigned to relevant operational roles as appropriate. We also conduct internal audits and continuous improvement activities through the PDCA cycle to maintain and enhance pharmaceutical transport quality.

Through these initiatives, we provide practical and reliable transport plans aligned with CEIV Pharma guidelines, along with robust temperature control practices. With a high level of expertise and technical knowledge, we remain committed to delivering safe and dependable pharmaceutical air transportation.
