International Maritime Cargo Transportation Importing Procedures

Arrival
Containers are unloaded after the main ship arrives.

Relocation
Unloaded containers are relocated to the container yard.

Customs Clearance
An import declaration is made using NACCS (Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidation System).

Customs Approval
If there are no issues with the declaration, customs approval is granted. If a customs inspection is deemed necessary, the cargo will undergo a sampling or complete inspection.

Delivery
Cargo granted import approval is delivered to the warehouse designated by the customer.

Containers are unloaded at the container yard after the main ship arrives.

Relocation and Devanning
After containers are moved to the container freight station the cargo is unloaded from the containers to be sorted (devanning).

Customs Clearance
An import declaration is made using NACCS (Nippon Automated Cargo and Port Consolidation System).

If there are no issues with the declaration, customs approval is granted. If a customs inspection is deemed necessary, the cargo will undergo a sampling or complete inspection.
